Bilal Fawaz captured the British super welterweight title with a stoppage win over Ryan Kelly at the University of Wolverhampton. The 38-year-old controlled a fast-paced contest, breaking Kelly down with consistent pressure and heavy combinations before the referee stepped in in the ninth round. Fawaz, who now holds a record of 14 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, has expressed ambition to move towards world-level fights, naming Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr among potential future targets.
